Looking good, is the front of the car longer when the bolf conversion is done or is it my eyes and lack of sleep.

Yes it could be - it is the 20v non turbo - I probably will get it mapped and put a panel filter in it - because its the non turbo i guess im a little limited but still its got the badge so it cant be that bad a car - it does come alive after 3000 rpm, nice drive. For me the Bora conversion makes it look more euro which i like - it was done by vw themselves by the previous owner. Not sure what else i can do to get the power up except sell it and get a turbo, might be looking at a 2004 Civic Type-R for the next car, so thats why you might have seen it advertised elsewhere. It does make it look slightly longer but in my opinion sportier.

type r good cars but way overrated mate... get a 1.8t its way easier squeeze power out of then a non turbo car.. if you got big budget scooby or evo?? :wink:
but i love my mk4 turbo :grin:

the type r is a classic - enough said - the turbo has its advantages but a full Mugen upgrade would p!ss all over the turbo.
Its 221 bhp as standard -then again if i sell mine i might be tempted to but a mapped turbo with all the goodies already there.

the amount you spend on mugen upgrade ..if you sepnd that on a turbo car you got a rocket.. :wink:

i believe that the horses increase as you get in the higher speed & rev range - Anyway its a great car. If you want quality you cant go wrong with a german or jap car - they're both fantastic.
I want a car that needs tweeking but not one that is completely standard - turbo or not turbo ...that is the ?

loving the bolf front! If i were you, the fact that its only the N/a version , i would forget about about power.... and euro the hell out of it, its pointless trying to get power out of that engine mate!

I would buy some coilovers, deep dish rims, 8"wide, space the front and back and you have yourself a show car!
Or if you have a bigger budget i would stick some rayvern bags on it!

dark smokes all around mate :cool:.. iv always tinted my cars ..gives em complete different look :wink:
police hassle me with or without tints so dont bother me :laugh:
my mate just had hes front tints ripped of today tho they where stop checkin on main road ..poor guy was p!ssed off
when im drivin around and see copas nomally they dont bother me iv even been stoped few times but they never bother with the tints.. its just when you get pulled at stop check point that your fooked cus they will peel em off :angry:

thanks mate :smiley:.. gonna spray engine cover.. get carbon interior bits..boost gauge..door sills.. tt pedals..and gti dead pedal ...tt short shifter..sort out my diff shade anniversary valances, also need paint my calipers.. then may think about ko4 turbo route :evil:

does give the mk4 a nice twist!
