Title: high to rough idle and vac pipes

Hi, im having a pronlem with my mk3 GTI 8valver. if im driving round then i stop, my idle stays at arround 1400-1600 rpm and it will stick there till i blip the throttle to about 2500, the idle will then drop to about 800 but it sounds really rought, what could be causing this?

also ive had the ABS light come on and since that has been on i can here a hissing sound from the engine/brake servo(not sure Which) and what vac pipes am i best replacing and where can i get them?

Finally, is there anyway to run the engine without the crank and rockercover ventilation? all it does is fills the thottle body with crap.
