Title: throttle body bolts

where can i get them from??  i dont know the engine code for the 16v engine in my project. nor the number plate, evey place i have tried can not help me without that info, even when i bring in the bolts!!! :cry:

if i do need the engine code, where can i locate it on my engine??

Take them to an engineering factors (yellow pages) and they should have or know where to get similar bolts or go on screwfix direct etc and find similar bolts in there.

Should be able to get them from VW. if the engine is a 1.8 it is KR engine code, 6A or 9A or ABF if it's 2 litre. I think the throttle body mounts the same on all the models as the inlet manifold is the same.
N100 737 01 Allen Key Head Bolt. M8X60 4 required. :)

see the thing is that i was told when i brought the car that the engine is from a corrado 16v 9a engine code.
how can i verify that?? the bolts are a small problem in this project.
