Hi Guys,
Just been offered a new job and there is a company car on offer. Only problem is I've ordered a new Golf Gti and its due in this Wednesday.
If I decide to go for the company car then I'm going to have to sell mine ASAP, hopfully not losing too much money.
Im going to weigh up the options this week, but if anyone is interested in a Mk6 Golf GTI, Carbon Grey, 18' Monzas, RNS 510 Sat Nav then please let me know.
Sensible offers invited !
Regards

Tell them to keep the company car and give you an allowance instead.
Far more sensible

Stole the words right out of my mouth. Thats exactly what I did and it got me the MK5. Not a hope in hell they would have given me that as a company car. Id be driving around in a smelly, disgusting, filthy Audi or BMW diesel otherwise.

I guess if you cancel the order you will now lose your deposit - you have to way up this loss versus the loss of selling the car with 500 - 1000 miles on it.
You might find the dealer accomodating and refund your deposit, especially as they would have a physical car for sale as opposed to telling people its 16 week lead time !

Please give more detail on the spec...
5 or 3 doors? Leather?
Without needing to be too specific, whereabouts in UK are you.
Will dealer let someone simply takeover your order?
Did you manage to negotiate a discount?
PM me if you want.
