Title: Brake light switch

Just a quick question. I need to replace the brake light switch on an 8v Mk2. I have seen one on ebay which looks identical but is listed as being for Mk3/Vento/Scirroco/Corrado. Is the Mk3 switch the same as the Mk2? I am still looking for a Mk2 2pin switch.

its the same as a late mk2 switch, early mk2 switch has a different plug on the top
