Title: ABS Sensors
Post by: adamrob69 on 08 October 2009, 13:14
OK, Got an ABS fault recently, stays on most the time. Vag com come up with this:

Address 03: ABS Brakes
   Controller: 3A0 907 379
Component: ABS     ITTAE 20 GI V00
   Coding: 03604
   Shop #: WSC 00000
2 Faults Found:
00287 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Rear Right (G44)
            35-00 - -
00287 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Rear Right (G44)
            16-10 - Signal Outside Specifications - Intermittent

So getting a rear ABS sensor. Now looking on eurocarparts there seems to be a range to choose from, from £60 to £13! (MACHT being the cheaper make) Whats the difference? can i go cheap on  these? Sorry to hijack your thread, but I've had the ABS light constantly on, but when I ran vagcom, it didn't come up with any faults! Any idea what that could mean?
