Title: hissing sound from exhaust

I can hear a hissing sound at low revs when i boout the car like a tinny hissing sound is this normal ? sorry its not a very good description

Yep, mine too.

At low revs only, if you listen carefully you will hear the turbo whistle as well, quieter than the mk 5 but it is there at mid range.

Suppose so. Not sure what it is but mine does it too.
Hissing sound from the engine for half a scond to a second when you floor it.

yea thats the one i asked the dealer what they thought but they say its normal

I've got this at about 2500 - 3000 revs in any gear. I drove 2 GTIs and they both did that. The service manager said it was normal.
