Title: non fault acident is my no claims affected?

last December I got rear end shunted, claimed on the insurance and the third party admitted full liability, so will this have affected my no claims?

Not at all Mate.  Their insurance company paid out not yours so theirs will go up. Yours is only affected if your insurance company has to pay out.     Cheers     Deano

It shouldn't, but why not go on a comparison site and do a quote with a non fault accident and then do one without. See if there's really no difference. :wink:

I has done for a mate of mine. Some old guy reversed into his car when he was in his house. 100% he other guys fault and his premium has gone up! Confused, I am.

That's exactly the non fault claim I had to declare for five years. Neighbour reversed into my old mk1 and caved the back panel in. I was in the house at the time. :angry:

+1 - my neighbours  crashed into the car, we were lying in bed at the time,  :rolleyes: still have to declare it,

oh I'm expecting it to go up in price, as everything has recently, I just want to check that I've still got X years no claims.
