Title: how do remove seat belts?

Should be a bolt under the plastic covers, and at the gripper too  :smiley:

oh yh i see the bolt.. need some special ratchet get to it tho  :undecided:

Yh northeast front ones .. i just noticed my back seat middle belt is locked too.. i presume need change that too so the airbag light goes off?  :sad:

back one will not affect your airbag light nav its only the driver and passenger and your side airbags that will throw a fault light

it will be easier to remove your front seats as the trim panels have to come off to get acess just make sure to dissconnect the battery ie for the airbags as well as the seatbelt pre tensioners  :laugh:

k well thats some good news  :laugh:

ill have to go to my dads shed see what tools he has.. as i aint got nothing to open the nut.  :angry:

My passenger window poped out its regulator today twice aswell.. iv had a sh!t day with the car today  :cry:

Yh i removed the trim.. i dont think have to remove seats as i got quite bit room play around with the seat belt. aslong as the seat is pushed right up against the steering wheel .. im begining to hate VW  :lipsrsealed:

not good mate  :cry:
you will require some torx bits for the screws as they arent phillips or flat head etc  :wink: :wink: iirc the nut for the rear middle belt is 17mm

well i gave it a shot and no luck  :sad:

got p!ssed of with it so though take it to local garage ..where he only touches VW cars so i trsuted him .. and he did it for me for £30.. now my airbag light is off and i have seat belts that work  :laugh:
