Ok, So my mk3 sqweaks from the front.
It done this before and after i replaced my suspension but is grandually getting worse.
It does it when you go over a bump, groove in the road.
When you go over 1 bump it sqweaks a few times, as if it resonates/wobbles and slows down once u are back on the flat.
It does it when you tap the accelerator to jolt the car BUT IT DOESNT DO IT WHEN YOU TAP THE BRAKES TO MAKE THE CAR JOLT!
So im thinking maybe engine/gearbox mount related? I have pushed the engine about a bit, and there is a bit of play, but i cant make the sqweak noise to happen.
Could it be a bush on the wishbones/rack/subframe etc?
Or any other ideas
Its very much as if it swings/wobbles as it sweaks 3 or 4 times for one bump. And is effected by tapping the accelerator to jolt the car/engine, but not when i tap the brakes hard constantly.
Cheers
Mike

I would say a dry wishbone or subframe bush.

Will give everything a spray and report back tomo! lol.
If i find a worn bush, it wil just have to wait till i rip it all out i guess.
I plan to resray all of the racks and frames and change all the bushes.
But it is a very very very annoying sqweak!
