Title: Ferrari 348 wheels on mk3?
Post by: tomcat on 06 October 2009, 20:44
Hi all

Thinking of putting Ferrari 348 wheels on my mk3 but have no idea if they will fit, ideally I'd like a full set to have the 9" wide on the rear and the 7.5" on the front.
But would settle for 4 x 7.5" if that makes the difference between being able to do this or not. :undecided:

7.5" + 49mm offset -  Front
9" + 68mm offset - Rear
Also the PCD is 5 108 and the centre bore is 67.

Cheers
Tom

Yes you could fit them with adaptors, 30mm rear and 20mm front, biggest problem will be finding the wheels plus the adaptors will need to be custom made.

would also need spigot rings for the centre bore

Good point  unless the adaptors will do it.

Thanks peeps
I found some 5x100 to 5x108 adapters on american ebay. they say they are 1.5 inches thick, sounds a bit too much to me but is that ok for space.
Also the 20mm and 30mm measurements you give, are they for the 9 inch wide wheels on the back or the 7.5 inch?

Don't want to search for months and make a very expensive mistake.
Thanks
Tom

That was based on 9" rears, 7.5 all round might be better for clearance.
