Title: Exahust Queries
Post by: adamrob69 on 06 October 2009, 18:11
I have been getting quite a noticable raspy like exhaust noise from the front at certain revs/temp. I beleive my heatshield is slightly loose, is this the cause of the raspy like exhaust noise?

The rest of the exhaust seems fine, except back box, which leads me onto next question.. anyone used a JOM back box? are they loud? just want something cheap and cheerful for now whilst it is still my daily.

also whilst up on the ramps, i was lead to believe there are three silncers on the system. Mine only has two, its missing the front box, i know this wont cause a problem but is that standard or has someone taken it out?

A standard system has 2 boxes with a cat. Sounds like its blowing if its raspy.

I think the standard set up is 3 boxes, mine did anyway.

My AGG had 2 and a cat. They were definitely standard.
