Title: Grounding

Hi guys quick question..

I get a crackling noise from my sub when the engine is idling and it seems to reduce as i rev up. Now the amp is under the glovebox but the power and the rca's are well seperated. I have grounded the amp to a bolt which was sticking out of the pillar on the passenger side.. what could the problem be? Cheers guys..

Make sure it's a 'clean' ground i.e. remove any paint so it's bare metal.
