Hi,
A couple of quick questions that I'm sure somebody will be able to answer Quickly.
There is a plug that goes into the distributor (I think its a 2 pin) What is this and what does it control?
What is the component on the throttle housing that has a 2 pin plug goign to it and what does this control?
Sorry if these are really obvious question!
Thanks
Edd

I think the one on the throttle body is the throttle position sensor

The dizzy is 3 pins, and a hall sensor, tells the ecu when to fire the coil, and where the engine is (in it's cycle, not that it is located under the bonnet...)
Cheers

2pin on throttle housing is throttle position sensor,
when throttle is closed it should active the switch which should active the idle stabilisation iirc
