Quick question:
What throttle body will work in my 1995 ADY?
Cheers

A 1995 ADY one will fit 100%.
HTH. :)

Couldsn't resist.
TBH your safest bet is just using the matching one, I'm sure there are a few ADY cars breaking ATM.

Will keep my eyes peeled

Im not sure on what changed TB wise through the years, but if the ADY is OBD2 then i presume the sensors would be the same for the ADY and AGG.
And if they put out the same power i would think its the same size.
But all of that is just a guess of course.

I believe the are different on a AGG as it is Bosch whilst early cars were siemans I believe.

I know this was for the air mass meters, but was it on the TB's too?
As i said, im just completly guessing, ive only ever seen the 2L 8v thats in my car at the moment.
And i cant wait to rip it out soon! haha

Correct.
Last night I downloaded ETKA and got the TB part number then found that AGG TB works, so does some of the (94-97?) passats along with vento and golf variant. I'll keep my eyes peeled in the scrapyards.

got on guys. Found an AGG at the scrappy. Paid £23 for it and in the price I had a breather hose and washer pump included, so not bad. Fitted it in the scrappy car park and it just wouldn't idle, so I adjusted the throttle cable for tit o be part open, so I could get home. Gave it an almighty clean and all was well, throttle body was so extremely oily and dirty it was unreal!
Now I finally have a decent car again, getting the tracking done tomorrow so all is well
