Mk3 Gti 2.0L
I have a fuel leak under the throttle body, I can see fuel in top of the mainfold. Does anyone know where it is coming from?
-
Not sure but whatever happens get it fixed asap as petrol leaking near a hot exhaust is not good.
-
Probably the injectors.
-
Thanks for your replys, if it is the injectors, is it a pricy job to get repaired?
-
Did it myself, one of the brown o rings on the one injector was damaged. Replaced it and no more fuel leak. Thanks
-
Not a hard job, involves removing a few bits to get to them.
But as wayne said fix it ASAP. As it could cause well...... a fire!
