:laugh: Good old diesels! Was very pleased with that result! Just thought id share it lol. Was worth the risk as the fuel guage was on zero all the time!! Anyone done better?

This is a silly thread. If I empteid your tank and only put 4.7l in you would not get 110 miles away from me. That works out as nearly 100MPG doesn't it?!

As mentioned at JKM, first half of the tank goes slowly, then the second half flies. I get the same on my gti from 1/2 to 1/4 tank, it just disappears!

Ok ok, I MAY have lied.... 110 miles from putting a fiver of diesel in, then fuel light come on lol :grin:

my light came on and i put 20quid in and i got 180 miles and light came back on again this bad or goood? :undecided:

I normally get 100 miles to £10
long term average of 53.4mpg over 2500 miles :cool:

Are we talking normal diesel or premier like Shell V-Power here? Are you finding you get more for your money out of the premier or standard?
