I'm going to buy a dual action machine polisher sometime soon and I'm looking for some advice.
There is a considerable price difference between the two polishers named in the title, is there much of a difference between them?
What does everyone recommend and where to get it from(ie the best deal with pads and polishes)?

www.elitecarcare.co.uk do machine and pad/polish deals;)
i cant comment on the da's because i own and use a rotory and have done for 14yrs.

I had the Kestrel from CleanYourCar with Menzerna polishes!

I'm new to machine polishing so I'm not too keen on going straight to a rotary. :embarassed: A da will do me for the moment.

Looks like this is what I'll go for, unless anyone else has anything to contribute to the other side....

Me too, except I got mine from i4detailing.
I have had good results using a borrowed Porter Cable, so will be interested to see how the Kestral fairs for the first time this weekend.

I have a G220 and have used a Kestrel which I find slightly heavier. Both a good machines and a great way to get into machine polishing. Just listen to your mp3 player as you work the panel!

We currently only stock the G220, however the Kestrel will be in stock in the next week or so. I'll be putting some kits together as soon as they are in, I think you will find our prices very competitive, especially with the forum discount
I'll admit to never trying the Kestral, but it gets great reviews. I own a G220 and have corrected a fair few cars with it, haven't really got a bad word to say against it.
Definatly go for a DA before a Rotary.
