Title: Brake pad worryomiter( warning light)

 Got a fault with the brake pad warning light on my mk3 16v. Nothing wrong with the pads but the lights on all the time. Any one know where i can get a wiring diagram for this from. Needles to say Hayes book of lies is totaly usless and cant seem to find any reference on anything ive found on the web so far. Any idears?

Have you checked your brake fluid level as this is also covered by the light????     Cheers     Deano

disconnect the sensor wires from the pads.

I have this on mine too. someone told me that if its lit, it could possibly be more than one abs sensor thats faulty.

Havent been online for a wile so thanks for the ansers.
  Deano brake fluid ok but this would also bring on red brake warming light (its only the amber one on)
  Wayne more than one set of new pads so no probs there
  Harlemex tryed that when it was only intermitant just brought the light on all time
  Skc not abs because on abs warning lt on
  Any idears about where i can get a good wiring diagram from?

Does your abs light actually work though, some people remove the  bulb to mask abs fault when selling car. Light should come on for a few seconds and then go out.

This is more than likely the fault, as i explained in another thread the other day.

abs light and abs all working fine. any idears were i can get a good wiring diagrm from.I think its the only way im going to sort this.
