Title: same parts from a kr and a 1.8 carbed

wondering if things like my sump, oil pick up, exhaust manifold which is a 4 branch 2.5 bore thing, fly wheel and clutch are the same as a kr engine. ( i have a 1.8 8v carbed thing).

flywheel yes, but BTDC mark in wrong spot, use haynes to remark it
oil pickup maybe
manifold no
clutch it depends on the gearbox you want to use, not engine

wicked that sounds abit better.

ill get a kr clutch as mines going, im gona use the 020 gear box thats the same as the kr's aint it?

you need to check the box code, the 8v 020 box has a smaller input shaft than the mk2 16v and mk3 2.0 8v 020 boxes :)

well you need a new clutch either way, just need to check the box code so you know if you need an 8v or 16v one ;)
