Title: Front Door Speakers
Post by: dilraj on 30 September 2009, 19:30
Hi guys.

I have an mk3 golf with no front door speakers.. The rubber trunking that usually goes from the pillar to the door is also not there so im guessing theres no connection for the speakers in the door or indeed to the HU. I have a set of speakers to go in the front but how would i go about connecting these? And also, where can i get the rubber trunking?

Thanks for the help.

Hi Mate     The easiest way is to search on here for someone breaking a GTi and buy the rubber sleeves from them. Then it is surely easier to run your own speaker wire from the speaker, through the rubber sleeve and around the back of the dash to the back of your stereo and wire it direct.     Cheers     Deano

i had this problem, i just got 2 crossover boxes and wired the dash speaker wire into that and then split the signal between dash and door, was really easy
