Derv! :lipsrsealed:
that's the one
oh and an lsd is possibly not needed unless you spin everywhere...then you need to have driven lessons. (My friend runs 300+bhp from a rover turbo without lsd and he has no spin issues!)
When i worked for Citroen they showed me how to increase boost to dangerous levels (but 90bhp to 150 was easy.............for a mile or two :lipsrsealed:)

Yea like uprated clutches!

You have a friend with a Rover, thats nasty
My mate Glyn the saffa worked at quaife, The family all bought new Carrera GT's and said that there was no money for a pay rise, so he left

An LSD won't stop you spinning the wheels...you'll just spin both if you have the power.
What it will do is let you turn in under power and let the diff pull you through the corner.
It's totally at it's best for a car that needs grip for cornering - but you need the chassis to make best of it too.
I like mine...you can corner at stupid speeds.

WHS !
Having owned a couple of mk5 Gti's and a Mk4 PD150 I thought the Mk3 may have been a little disappointing in terms of handling, with some subtle suspension mods (coilies and ARBs) and the addition of LSD it now corners really well regardless of weather conditions and has endless grip from the front end, zero torque steer .
I also run an LSD in a '64 VW beetle which only pushes around 100 Bhp , so BHP is largely irrelevant when its more traction that your after even in a 300 BHP Rover
cheers
