Title: indicators stopped working

hi, used my car today & the indicators just give one flash then die?

it happenned a while back but cured itself.

im thinking it's maybe the relay?

anyone any ideas or know what relay controls them? thanks.

ps car is 99 gt tdi 110

My money would be on the flasher unit which is built in to the hazard light switch  :nerd:

Part number 1J0 953 235 J  around 15 pounds IIRC  :smiley:

Let us know when you find whats wrong  :smiley:

Just replaced the hazard switch which has the flasher unit built in and problem solved!  :smiley: cost me £10 from breakers (or it was £18 new from vw)
