Title: Afternoon!

Just thought I would pop by and say hello! I live in Medway, Kent and I bought my first Golf yesterday! :grin: I'm so excited about going to pick him up next week! He's a 2.0 GTi Mk 3 in Metallic Mulberry. He's original, very very clean and completely unpimped! :smug:

Right, can i ask a really really stupid question? I think i'm probably gonna make myself look a prat before i've been here 5 minutes, but here you go. I have a keyfob for the central locking - left button opens/closes the doors and arms the alarm, right button sets the alarm off?? Is that right?? :undecided: Also, if i have to prove i have an immobilisor to my insurance company, how do i actually do that? I've got a Scorpion alarm on it.

Yes you normally have to supply a certificate to your insurers to prove its a CAT1.

lol! Panic button? Does that mean that it's likely all Golf owners are going to be attacked at some point and that's why they put the panic button on the (very large) key fob?! ;)

Gary the Golf - geddit? :rolleyes: :wink: I still haven't decided which name suits him best tho..... :undecided:

I'm trying to upload a pic of my (very large) key fob so i'll post it up in a sec. :D
