Title: Fogs switch

i got a ? about the fog lights switch it has 2 positions otehr than off only the second does anything(rear fogs) what is the other for as it doesnt control my front fogs they only come on with high beem.

is it me or should this first position be the front fogs?

IIRC with my golf, you are correct in thinking that the fronts should come on on pos. 1 and rears on pos 2. Sounds like someone's been playing... :-\

might have to take a look at the wiring few other odd things where amp leads attached to things like the fan switch and cig lighter been pulling out wires and repairing cables where they have been connected by stripping cable and wrapping another around the bare part and taped up. suprised anything worked. some people are just crazy :S

Sorry to ask a silly question, but by 'fogs' are you refering to the small lights in your bumper or the two inner spotlamps on your grill?

The inner grill lamps arn't fogs! Sorry in advance if you knew this but I had to ask as the mistake has been made before! ;)
