For about a week now, the throttle on my MKIII 16V seems to have developed a mind of it's own. Mostly when the engine is cold, whenever I dip the clutch the revs fly up to about 2500 and stick there. If i blip the throttle they seem to come back down to normal idling speed again. Any ideas??
Cheers

clean / check the ISV / throttle body and that all pipes are connected and not split
