I have been offered a set of seat leon cupra r (180hp) calipers and carriers for £100 + £10 delivery also said I could have the discs for an extra £20 what u guys think? The calipers are also painted red with brembo stickers.

yeah have sent him a message about that would it be easy to fit or not?

if you're not 100% then stick it into a local garage as the brakes can be a sod to bleed properly without the proper kit

right ok well its a good thing i got an uncle who runs a garage so it will be free haha. in the 312mm upgrade thread that rich did it says lean cupra r brakes are bigger than 312mm is that right?

bloody hell thats cheep, psi tuning charged me £200 to fit front and back, calipers, carriers, disks, pads and bleed the brakes :angry: :angry:

I think it was the 225bhp Cupra that came with the larger brakes
the 180bhp version came with the 312mm's :undecided:

Thats daylight fecking robbery!! :angry: how long did it take them?? Garage I used took under an hour for the fronts and 90 minutes for the rears (£40 to do the rears)

took them 6 hrs! oh sorry also forgot and to change a cv boot!

If you are going to 312mm why change the calipers when they are the same as what you've got? All you need is the carriers and disc's. The job couldnt be easier :laugh:
