Title: banging suspension

can any one help i've got a mk3 20ltr 8v and its been lowererd i have 15" rims but when i go over a bump sometimes theres a loud bang-knock coming from the back shocker i've been told its where the car has been lowererd but i've seen plenty as low it been dropped about 20mm lower than standard i have changed the springs but no better the man at garage said its bottoming out on the bump stops but i cant see that would make a bang-knocking noise and sometimes i can feel it through the floor its really starting to pi** me off hope you guys can help ??? >:(

are the rubber bump stops missing?

they are still there apparently theyve been cut down dont know why

It will be the rear bushes that are worn out. I believe this is a common problem. Also check the front bushes as these will be more than likely on their way out also. hope this helps.

is it the axle bushes???
