Title: Retro fitting post 89 steering wheels.

Has anyone in here fitted a post 89 steering wheel to a pre 89 car with a larger splined shaft?
I have just bought a really nice G60 wheel to go into my 88 16v, but the splines are different.
I have seen then fitted to feature cars in magazines and i understand that VW make an adapter, but as yet, i cant find a part number, any info guys & gals? ???
