Title: Cleaning out intercooler

Hi guys,

im going to take off the intercooler and give it a clean out is it just take it off and clean it and put it back on again?

or is there anything i should take into prioriate?  whats best to clean it out with aswel?

You might as well replace the clips while you are there?

you'll need to take the radiator off too, so make sure you've got coolant for that.

As said take the opportunity to replace the clips.

i did my scooby intercooler with white spirit! rinse it out with water tho, you'll be amazed how much crap comes out!!!!!

industrial steam cleaner (extremely hot jet wash for those who didnt know)
commercial TFR (traffic film remover)
compressed air
