Title: Just picked up new Mk6 -- Absolutely love it!

Hi,

I'm new on here so be gentle!  :wink:
I just picked up my new Golf GTI Mk6 last weekend and thenwas struck down with swine flu (I think i brought it on myself ben too excited)

I got it in White, 5DR, Sat/NAV/DVD, Adaptive chassis, Phone prep etc. etc..

I absolutely love this car now! It was a toss up between an Audi A5 2.0T (211) SLine and the golf won and i'm so glad i went for it.

Anyways just thought i'd share that with the group.

Yea i'm much better now thank you. Just can't keep out of the car though! too many gadgets to play with!  :smiley:

I think it's the best colour to get the GTI in (My opinion)
I'm still confused about the DVD kit, does it recieve TV chanels? How do i make it work whilst driving? (For passengers obviously)  :cool:

And a little dissappointed that the bluetooth only supports RSAP (Which renders the iphone useless) oh well ordered nokia n97 which should do job.

I'm biased, but I really think I'm starting to prefer the MKVI. 

That white 5-dr might just have swung it  :shocked:

Ady, did you get it from the idiots down at Elland Road? (and I mean the VW dealer, not the footballers before anyone makes that quip!!!!)

Will keep an eye out for you around Leeds.... I will be in the Golf that looks like yours :cool: :cool:

p.s. Dvd wont work whilst your driving as you need to buy an aftermarket kit to make it do that. not advisable tbh, but if you do decide to go down that route, then I would say also get the freeview box too.  :smiley:

Thought you had an R32... just a qild guess from name and picture???

I did up until yesterday :cry:.

Im away this weekend but always driving around the north and east leeds area. See you around :cool:
