That's worryingly cheap, particularly for the spec/miles.
Maybe I will call the seller and find out which one of his nigerian bank accounts he wants the "monies" tranferred to.

All I need is your account number, sort code and I can transfer the monies 'directly'.

Good chance it's an import! saw a similar one a while back which was also quite cheap. Checked the sevice book and it was PDI'D in Dubai. Some insurance companies will not touch these cars with a barge pole, as it could have sat at the docks in the sun for months.

WTF would anyone sell a £10-£12k car for £8k?
Scam? Or just a mentalist?

He might just want a quick sale.
Just a note on autotrader links. Please don't use your real postcode. I'm assuming PA1 1LZ is not your real one, just a central Greenock code.

'PA' prefixes are Paisley. The closer the number to 1, the more central it will be. Greenock is PA12, or something.
PA1 will be central Paisley somewhere - google it

No, because If someone wanted to steal a nice MK5 GTI they now have your postcode (i.e where your car lives) if you posted an Auto Trader link with your actual postcode on it
