Best bet would be to give Ray a ring direct. He was dead helpful when I rang. 1750 was for front and rear fitted about 3 months ago.

I don't know anyone with air ride, don't you know there's a recession on?

There is another American company that do air ride kits, but I will have to check their name when I get in from work. They sold a kit that was rated by the american scene and wasn't obscenely expensive...

Might be worth a seperate thread asking if anyone has air ride specifically rayvern, but I reckon most folks on here are still in the "conventional" suspension camp. Maybe asking ED38?

Awww i no ive been skint for too long so decided to stop spedning money on 4 seprate cars and put it all into one. Luked into hydrolics but waayy waay over priced. Yeah i checked the american company site but i would need it fitted by the specialist also.

ED38 have a few but their all custom jobbies and i want a straight forward instal.

2k would be alot to spend on suspension for a Mk2 for me!
Good coils will cost you £500.

Coils are no good if you want to "lay frame" as I believe it's called.

Looks like he's abandoned the car due to the piece of gravel boulder blocking the road ahead.

Don't get me wrong I think air on a new school car that's worth lots of money has it's place, it's actually quite a sensible practical idea. Car can go low, but raise it to prevent damage or to drive harder on poor roads for instance. But spending 2.5k on suspension on an old mk2? Only if you tell me you are going all out show car and are going to win trophies, and have paint, interior etc to match.
Otherwise spend your money more wisely.

It wont be going on a golf dude dont worry. I agree with you not worth paying 2.5k on a car that goign to need an extra £.5k to sort out.

Its going on a merc sl old school :-D

Not sure if you guys got this sorted but check out the build thread on E38 on the Mk4...

http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=246688&hl=voodoo&st=0

This was done by Elie & Tom @ Voodoo Motorsport, they specialise in VW's but they're looking to fit this on any make/model...
