Perfect apart from that stealer sticker
-
Good pictures ,its very shiny
-
awesome colour too
-
The black looks stunning. Is it deep black pearl? Is it Life shined?
-
It is metallic black but not life shined (i had supaguard on my audi, just didnt think it did enough). This was before a few days since picking it up though, so I am sure the dealer gave it a good wax.
-
Make the most of the black looking clean like that :D
-
Lol mine looks abso disgusting, also a lovely deep pearl black but not shiny it is covered in road dust and I am totally ashamed, think will need to visit the car wash tomorrow.

NOOOO !!
Dont do it ! Wash your car properly, especially if its black. That is unless you want it to look like this after a year.

Don't do it! You'll never get the paintwork back to mint again.
Nice clean sponge and a bucket.
-
Only one problem with that I don't have a garage and no access to hose pipes so it would be trips back and forth with numerous buckets and even then the problem with road grit being put on the cars body. The chap at the car wash has assured me everything is foam and that it will not scratch the car.

Eh NO!!
2 buckets and a nice clean sheepskin

Ok ok calm down dears!!! I shall pop off and buy a nice new sponge and bucket tomorrow and give it a good seeing to.
-
Hummmm if you dont have access to a hose I dont blame you, EFFFFORT lol.
-
A water container from a camping/caravan accessory shop would be worthwhile, 25 litres of water without the walking up n down.
Or what about a portable pressure washer ?

well worth a read....hard work, but one seriously shiny car at the end
-
The ONLY way to avoid swirl marks is with a touchless wash. Period. Sponges, sheepskin mits and such like WILL eventually produce SMs, no matter how clean you think they are
-
True, but you can certainly delay the inevitable.
-
I wish I had the spare time to wash my cars by hand
The local Polish hand car wash for me everytime.
-
never go to a car wash!!!

A couple of weeks ago a guy at work had his car valeted, took the dude all morning and a couple of hours of the afternoon. By going home time a seagull had done a big sh!t on it. Felt for the guy but it was pretty funny

it always does! honestly, everytime i get the car dude to clean my car it either p1sses it down just after he has started or it hammers it just before i leave to go home
-
The car looks stunning mate...
I love a nicely polished black car - its probably the best looking colour when its clean like that.
The only problem is it takes ALOT of effort to keep it clean at its gets grubby and dusty very easily!

I do that, but it never seems to get my car clean! :lipsrsealed:

Do the washing yourself, get a Karcher, some spray foam, leave it, wash off. Shammy dry, job done. (Assuming polishing etc has been done before hand and all it needs is a wash)

totally agree, it makes it so easy. But avoid the shammy Kev, a nice big microfibre towel helps.

+1 and ditch the shammy in the bin
