Title: Anyone with Bilstein B16 PSS10's? - doing mine!
Post by: Hurdy on 15 September 2009, 13:39
I've just ordered some B16 PSS10 Bilstein coilovers and was wondering if anyone else had them fitted to their car!

I've had Eibach's on up till now, but they are leaking (the rears for the 2nd time - fronts "misting") and so I've decided to bin them. Seems that Eibach dampers are made by KW as it says KW on the rear leaking ones.

Pretty crap really as I only fitted them early last year.

Spoken to JBS, who fitted them for me and they were very good, managed to get hold of the supplier and find out that the rears are still under warranty, so at least I'll have a cheap set to sell once I do the swap :undecided:

Any advice, thoughts welcome

The dampers on all RS Audis with the Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) suspension are made by KW - and frankly, they are shyte - increadibly well-known to leak - I've had two go on mine in less than two years.  The DRC central valves are made by Kayaba, and they seem to be fairly robust, though.

Bilstein or Sachs - both have top notch reputations.
