Took one of the plugs out, set it against the head and turned it over... there just no spark at all. :( I have replaced the distributor cap, rotor arm and the ignition coil. Checked all the plugs and leads. Checked all the fuses. Checked the earths. Cleaned out the carb (pierburg 2e2).
The only thing I can think of it being is the distributor... Now I know that Polos give problems with the Hall sender. Could it be this?
Is there anything else I have overlooked? Has this happened to anyone else?
Any help appreciated :)

Ive had a dizzy go and i know few other people that have, think they are common fault.
I take it you ve checked for a spark at the coil?

Nah... just at the plug man. Cheers for the info tho :D

Check the ignition module.
Mine went just over a week ago after some heavy rain.

Replaced that man... didnt do nothing :(

if it has a rev counter does it jiggle while the engine is cranking?
break out the multimeter and check the continuity of the 3 wires from the dizzy plug to the ignition module. there should also be an earth wire to the battery, plus check for 12v at the black wire side of the coil with the ignition on.
