the last ptist noise i had was because when i replaced the EGR valve one of the old pipes which i blanked off started to crack and leaked exhaust gases. Eventually it got a lot worse and I had zero performance
Is it almost a constant noise?
-
No its a definate itermitant thing, just like its dumping or recirculating or whatever the ptist noise is when u lift off the revs...
if this is the case and the pipes are cracked is there any form of upgrade? for these and the vac pipes?
-
no upgrades available for the 90bhp version mate apart from replacing with new OEM stuff
-
LMAO trust me to get the only golf that nothing is availiable for!! haha!!

thats cheaper than eexpected.. are they all the same or does my sh it 90 have somethin else like an N72.5 valve?

ask Steve about the turbo cleaner as we never got around to doing mine
Will dig out a part number later
-
Cheers Rhyso...
So Steve...
-
ETKA only shows one 'pressure converter' for the AGR engine
part number is 1JO 906 627 which IIRC is identical to the 130 and 150 engines although its been super-ceded so you'll most likely end up with a 1KO part number (MK5)

Cheers Rhyso... im intregued now, whats ETKA?
