hello everyone,

a few months back i visited this forum for some advice when my H reg mk2 kept dieing on me, i didnt register at the time i just read the topics and picked some good ideas out to aid its recovery. now its time to put something back, and i hope i can help others who have questions on mk 2's with similar problems.

love my mk2, and want to add to my stable with either a vr6 or early mk1 cabrio, decisions decisions

oh indeed, have thought about it.
most of the cabrios i have looked at have been a bit long in the tooth, am going to look at a vr6 this weekend with a snapped cambelt. if the price is right i will replace the engine with a good unit and i m ight just keep the old engine for a rainy day.

a vr6 in a cab would really screw the handling up, but I know of a cab with a 20vT in it for just under 7 grand, for sale by one of the major tuning companies down south!
or you could buy mine! only kidding, came close to selling it recently but couldnt go through with it in the end

thanks for the welcomes,

there are some great looking cabrio's there. it always makes me want to get one.

i will have to take a pic of my mk2 and add it to my messages. i think its a fairly rare'ish gti being a light blue metalic.
