I didn't realise that Golfs wore pyjamas whilst travelling by sea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlITIr_WgwI (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlITIr_WgwI) Its like they all want to be Candy White.

So much care and attention. Brilliant.

They've worn those for ages - all VW Group cars wear them. If you happen to catch a transporter dropping a fresh load off at your local stealer - you'll think they are all 'exhibits' from CSI or sommat!

Pity they don't sell them

They all get sent back and re-used. They're quite substancial, zip-open flaps for the screens and doors. Made of similar stuff as those white disposable overalls for forensic scientists. :nerd:

Zips?!?! No wonder the cars come with scratches

I think the zips are nylon (fancy a steel zip being parked dockside in salty sea air ), and the zip sections have noticeable double 'flaps', so the actual zip should never get near the paintwork. :nerd: Shoddy dockside handlers might not give a care how they zip and unzip them though!

Ah. Never seen a VAG car come off the transporter. Only seen them in the compound with the sticky tape covering the paint work.

Anyone spot the GTI lurking under its cover?
