Title: Best way to store a car (cosmetically)?
Post by: Agreeable Slick on 11 September 2009, 21:54
Evening all,

I am shortly to be moving house, and will be putting the car on the drive and not using it much.

This is mainly to save money, stop putting miles on it, and save up to get the roof painted after it was attacked at bugjam.

What is the best way to keep it looking fresh?

I was thinking a thorough clean, polish and wax, then some kind of soft sheet followed by a car cover that goes over the entire car, down to the sills. Breathable and waterproof would be the type i would look for, but do you have any other hints for me?

Ta.

i think you have summed it up to be honest with you.. just make sure u tie down that cover damn tight as if it moves about its been known to scratch paintwork quite badly
