Title: Weitec or FK?

im torn between the Weitec Hicon GT and the FK Highsport coilovers, i need help deciding which ones to go for!

yea they are £390 from DPM but the FKs are only £20 more at £410 on Venom Motorsport

yea but £20 isnt enough of a difference cos if the FKs are better i will go for them and tbh on Venom motorsport they say that they put that suspension on their show cars

i would have thought weitec would have been better? never hear anything bad about them whereas ive heard some bad things about FK's before  :smiley:

show cars that only go to shows and not driven properly lol! to be fair if i had a show car i'd probably put cheap coilovers on it, i wouldnt wanna spend loads on some that dont get used, just my 2 pence  :smiley: .

Ive just ordered the Weitecs from DPM because I thought they were better. But im nearly sure that FK make them? (someone will surely know???)

Show cars are NOT driven. They scrape like f**k in a slight bump so round a track they'd mostly be sh!t.

Well, "proper" show cars any way.  :rolleyes:

This is true. I have hottunning coilovers on my Vento but am saving up for a better quality set like AP or Weitec for the mk5. The mk5 is in daily use so I wouldn't dare put cheap coils on it. The Vento is rarely brought anywhere so the cheap coils aren't really an issue.
