I am looking into doing the G60 brake convertion. I know there is a lot of ifs and buts about what wheels do and do not fit with these.
Does any one know if my ATS Cups will fit/have any knowledge of any one fitting the same.
My wheel sizes are as follows.
7J x 15" E28
Not that it matters but i am running 195/45/15 tyres...
If any one can shed a nice beam of light on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

While it's not a guarantee I've not heard of any fitting issues with 15" ATS Cups and 280mm brake set ups.
45 section tyres is a touch mean, you'll be rather short geared and it'll look under-tyred with that set up.

totally agree with the 45 tyre size and gearing really does knock it out a fair bit  but i prefer the look of 45 IMO.

You think? Fair enough. They do seem to sit very well for me (car was up on stilts on this photo, and looks much better now its down on the floor).
Ive seen so many places saying there is no chance with getting away with g60's and about the same saying you can, so im really stuck as to what to do!

Standard fit ATS will not go over G60 brake set up. To make ATS fit over, the front wheels will need the same offset as that of the Astra with either 5 or 10mm spacers. Even then, you may need to shave a little off the caliper. That is what a friend of mine had to do with his Jetta with the same mods.

if u can get to sunny herne bay tom m8 u can try one on my car as im on the middle of swapping mine but my bbs wont fit over them so i will w8 until i can afford some new wheels that do
for now i will stick with standard
but the brakes will be off by tom night

Go with DPB's steer on this - I was speculating, as *most* 15" rims fit over 280mm brakes.

Jeez ok. Looks like Il look into these when I can get some new fancy rims. I was looking at going to 16" some time in the future.
Thanks for the heads up guys.
