Keep an eye out on eBay ... normally something on the go ;)
Ask the seller PLENTY of questions and see if they know they're stuff first though.
There's quite a few people selling *cough* cough* copied chips so get a bargin ;D
All you want is to find a chip that's got more aggressive fuel and ignition maps for use with high octane fuel, and that has cured the 'digi' lag problem.

Thanx mate ill keepa look out cheers

Yeah, I'm interested in this as well.
Are there any particular makes I should look for and if it's a copy does it matter. Any recommendations?

my opinion is watch ebay cos there is a lot of resistors passing off as chip.....

Yeah DEFINATELy don't pay ?50 for a resistor chip - all they do is give a false air flow reading and let the ecu increase 5the fueling to compensate!
As for copied chips - I work in the IT industry and can't see any problem with it providing the chips are of good quality and the program written to the chip isn't damaged in anyway.
I've tested one of these guys chips ....

Did a gr8 job - but remember on an NA engine a chip won't turn your car into a 355 spider ;D
