At the moment im with Admiral and they dont know nothing of the above mods ive done, if i tell them will my insurance go up.
Will they find out about the remap, also whats a good insurance for excepting my mods.

Yes and Yes
HIC are good for mods.
-
Yes.
Invalid insurance without.
I'm with bell and have all mods declared.
This is how it affected me
alloys - +£57
lowering - +£150
Spoiler - +£57
Induction Kit - +£57
If you had an accident, they could check for the map.

If you have an accident, its liekly the car will be in no state to return those mods to standard, especially arbs and suspension.
Just declare it and be smug about it when you get questioned. Thats what i do :)

Any change from standard needs to be declared.

Jesus!! My policy was £100 more when I renewed by adding my mods (every single one) Think you're getting shafted!

Including the map?
Who are u with? Bell have got rid of the flexy policy so when the renewal comes it might have to be someone else!

HIC , yeah map included. My renewal was about £750 but went up to just over £850 when I informed them of the mods.
Bear in mind I'm 21 with 4 years NCB.

When I was with Admiral for the last year, I declared everything, mine jumped up with alloys, lowering, front and rear light change, along with black badges it cost me £200 extra, not bad considering I'm 20 with no NCB at the time. Paid £1000 to them for 10 months.
Now renewed with Adrian Flux, and the thing they offered which Admiral didn't was a like for like basis on ALL my mods. I'm paying £650 now which is quite nice me thinks! :)
ALWAYS DECLARE YOUR MODS!!!

If you don't declare your mods and have an accident or a claim, you will first of all be asked for a letter of non-disclosure, in which you need to explain to the insurance company why you did not consider it necessary to inform them of any changes made. 99% of these end up with you having breached the terms of your insurance. You will therefore be uninsured. The likely outcome is this:
1) 6 points and £200 fine from the court
2) Any damages payable (if applicable) to the 3rd party or parties depending on how many vehicles you hit and ALL COURT COSTS as you will have no legal cover because you have no legal policy.
3) The likelihood of most insurance companies no quoting you in future because another company cancelled your policy due to non-disclosure.
If you do not disclose your mods you are one of these. You may choose which one...
