Title: intermittent problem

hi i have a mk4 golf gti 1.8 turbo which now and then sounds like it is only running on 3 cylinders after about 5 mins the problem clears and car runs as normal some days the car runs with no problems i think it might be the MAF sensor but i don't know it has got the AGU engine. any help please.

maf, ignition amplifier or coilpack are likely suspects.

my friend had the same problem with his, it turned out to be the coil pack, after a while it just gave up
