What make is the best caliper paint? Does anyone know of any company/workshop in the north east (near newcastle) that paints calipers for you? I want a good job and Im sh!t when it comes to anything like this.

Hammerite is as good as anything else, cheaper than the paints that are supposed to be for calipers and probably alot better paint, just make sure they are clean, dust and grease free and away you go.

i used the foliatec brake caliper paint kit has all the stuff you need inside the box i.e brake cleaner, paint and hardener i also applied some clearcoat laquer to mine while drying to give it some extra shine

Did mine recently and just used the standard tins of paint you buy from car spares shops. Used primer first (one coat) then paint (two coats) then finished off with two coats of lacquer. They look a treat and while I am no expert at painting just remember to spray from about twelve inchs away and apply thin coats of paint to avoid runs. Took me about two hours total to paint all calipers. Had the car jet washed every week since and they still look great due to the lacquer. Give it a try and just start off by using a wire brush to clean them up first. I did mine with the pads still intact as I very carefully masked off everything and all I removed is the retaining clip on the front calipers.
