Title: Ipod Connection
Post by: grumpy86 on 05 September 2009, 23:25: I've got an Mk 5 Golf GTI, just wondered if anyone new of anyway of connecting an ipod to the standard head unit already in the car. Without me taking the head unit out i'm not sure if there is anything on the back of the unit to connect in to.
My other option is to buy a new head unit, but didn't want to mess up the look of the interior as the current head unit doesn't look too bad in there!

be aware that the VW kit only shows you six play lists on the head unit...

Post by: jaydubveedub on 06 September 2009, 11:12: Have you got the 6CD changer in the front arm rest? If so, you can buy ther VW ipod dock which is a straight swap and doesn't require you to remove the head unit. It's available from your stealer, but they will rape you for about £250.
