hi people,
im after some advice service is due now, need to know which oil is good? i have been using valvoline and some guy told me thats a budget and its not all that? he said to go for mobil 1, what do you guys think? i know that mobil 1 is very thin would that make my hydrolic lifters louder?

or do a search

Stuff in Halfords in a green bottle is what I use in the track car. Think it's 10w40. Don't use super thin fully synth as you'll just blow it straight out your exhaust.

10/40 resonable quality fleet oil will be fine for a daily.
sylvia synta, AC delco pritty much anything. just don't use the uber cheep stuff. a lot of the more expensive midrange oils are all hype. if you want to spend loads of money you chould go for top end fully synthetic but really that engine dosen't require it, if you thrash the nuts off it the oil will cope fine unless it been very modifyed or you never the oil

what is fully synth for? what good does it do? also what is sylvia synta? iv just used valvoline as i thought that was good but then i was told its the cheap stuff, was told that mobil 1 is good but super s is just standard, iv got upto £30 to spend on juts oil dont want to over do it.
