No, but, ran them on 18s. Fronts wore out in 8k (surely not great ) and rears got incredibly noisy when close to wear limit. Running GY assymetrics now. Much quieter, but too soon to say about wear. No noticable grip difference except in wet due to new tread being obviously better.

Hubby ran Potenzas on 17s on his car and replaced them early due to the noise.

I find Bridgestones can be noisy tyres. We have them on our vans at work and they're horrible on the motorway.

I have bridgestone potenzas on my ed30.
They were v noisey initially, but once worn in a bit, they were not too bad. Depnds very much on the surface.
I find grip in dry/ wet fine, but i o not drive like a loon ( most of the time).
Done 14 k , and still 4mm left on the front, and a bit more on the rear.

That's the problem, they really pronounce the noise on worn surfaces. And let's face it the UK's roads are in really crap condition these days, you only ever seem to come across small patches of fresh tarmac.

hmm interesting. Only done about 25miles so far so its a bit early to tell. Do seem very slightly noisey but will see how they wear for now. Might just keep the 17" ones on throughout the winter months.

They can be a tad noisey just like the dunlops, but tend to wear slowly on the + side of it.

I ran 17" on my last car for 15k/1 year. I thought they made the ride quality terrible and far too fidgety.

Conversely from some other opinions here, I thought the motorway was the only place the ride settled down, at least compared to some of the other lunar-like roads in Scotland

I've got them on the MK6 fitted to 17" wheels. Personally have no problems at all, certainly better than the Pirelli's on my Saab. They grip well and are not too noisey.

Caveat to last statement :: Grip was good and the tyres seemed to last forever.

I still can't forgive the bone-rattling ride, which was awful. It was on a 1250kg diesel Punto, though a heavier car might ride better on the Potenzas?
