Title: Steering column
Post by: petrolh34d on 04 September 2009, 17:15
Just noticed on my Golf today that there is a gap of about slightly less than 1" on the right side of the steering wheel, between the plastic steering column casing and the dash board. I can see some wires through it.

Maybe she's always been like this and I never noticed, but is this normal?

yeah this is normal, i dont know why. shame the gap isnt on the left side as it would have made fitting the height adjust column much easier on my mk2!
